We have been serving pilots & aircraft owners in the Southeastern United States for since 1990, and have been located at St Lucie County International Airport in Fort Pierce, Florida since 1994. We are dedicated to quality workmanship and use only Mil-Spec and FAA Approved parts.

Important news:

Although we are greatly saddened with Larry's passing. We are getting back to a normal work schedule. Cathy & Joel have the same sign off authority for all work performed at Treasure Coast Avionics Inc that Larry had. We are still performing 91.411/91.413 inspections, avionics installation, avionics repairs, and custom panel building. Sales Tax Law Change
New sales & use tax laws go into effect 1/1/2013 for aircraft repairs and maintenance in Florida. This will bring significant savings to most aircraft owners. Some items will still be taxable, but new rules will apply.

(i)Aircraft modification services.—There shall be exempt from the tax imposed by this chapter all charges for aircraft modification services, including parts and equipment furnished or installed in connection therewith, performed under authority of a supplemental type certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration.

1(ee)Aircraft repair and maintenance labor charges.—There shall be exempt from the tax imposed by this chapter all labor charges for the repair and maintenance of qualified aircraft, aircraft of more than 2,000 pounds maximum certified takeoff weight, and rotary wing aircraft of more than 10,000 pounds maximum certified takeoff weight. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, charges for parts and equipment furnished in connection with such labor charges are taxable.
